Have a Wonderful Weekend...

Aren't they the cutest...click on the picture to enlarge! We hope all of you have a good weekend with family, friends, and loved ones.
I will be changing my blogs to members only access. Someone has taken it upon themselves to steal from our blogs, even the blogs, and have posted and published using my name and identification!
It is our understanding that we are not alone! If these slags can't sit down and upload pictures of their own and write a paragraph about themselves then, they certainly will not take any more of mine...not one more!
It is a sad state of affairs when you can't share love of your family, home, pets, shopping and cooking without some idiot stealing even these things from you! Its SICK...
If it doesn't work out for us with this move...then so be it... We can certainly move on to something else!
Here this...you who steal words and family pictures from Women;  Steal This...You Are Sick!!!

Digging Up Porch Decor Ideas

I love country...and country decorating. Years ago when the children were home, my entire decorating style was country. I made the change just before the two boys left the nest.
I've thought about doing a country porch with all the trimmings, lol...however, I don't know how it will go over since we are now living in the city. This is why I don't like changes because I have such a hard time in the decision-making process.
I went on the web and looked up a few...actually a lot of different porches decorated in different styles. Here are a few...

The porch above is traditionally decorated

Two Summer Porches

This one above is cottage style. It reminds me of what I had last summew...but not this formal

This is a good likeness of the swing I want to install on the right end of the porch...wide with lots of pillows. Cute, huh?

This one I might consider combining it with another to get what I'm looking for.

The one above can be country with the lamps and decor I like it...changes will make it workable.

This one is country however, I don't really like it. I would have to make changes to it. Still...I don't know! What do you think...any ideas... Love to get you input!
Oh decisions decisions...See, I told you, I do not like changes! James is no help at all...well, he did say even if he offered input I was still going to change it 100 times...so what the use! LOL.
I'm going to check the market for books to get more ideas. Something has to click soon... right?

UPDATE:
We are in for some very bad storms today...the weather is fixed for severe ones. Warm winds from the South off the Gulf are pushing their way up to collide with cooler weather from Oklahoma, yeah, I would say it will be bad. We are expecting power outages, trees toppling, thunder, lightening, hail, straight-line winds, etc..
It is snowing in upper parts of Oklahoma, and get this, thundering with snow, and a tornado spotted also! Wow, some unusual, dangerous weather, huh? If you don't see any activity from me later...this is why. Keep safe if you are anywhere near or in the path of these storms!

Be Safe...

My Front Porch

Good Morning Ladies & Gents...the next phase of my gardening, because of necessity will be cleaning and getting the front porch ready for guest.
The front porch here in the South is the backbone of Southern hospitality. Your porch is the open invitation extended to guest to come on in and "sit a spell". This is exactly what my guest do...they love it!
However, it certainly doesn't feel inviting now. Here are some pictures with all the mess...

When the picture has to be re-sized, I lose the right side of the porch

This is the right side. The porch is the width of the house, rather long and wide. I am thinking about a Porch swing on this end. I want it wide so I can relax and read there.

The picture above is the left side and the highest side.

I wanted two more rockers, however if I add the swing it will get a bit crowded. We are staining the rockers again this time white to match the wicker furniture.

This is a shot from the left...the high side. Did you notice all that pollen all over everything?
Wind is so high today I can't get outside because of my allergies. Pollen makes my skin burn too. Until I can get back out there...this is where I am. Tomorrow more Spring storms...they are saying severe!

Hope to see you again soon! Have A Splendid Tuesday!
