Friday is Here

Good Friday Evening,

I would like to Thank you all for the response to leaving remarks on Cynthia's blog. It meant so much to me...I read them all tearfully.
In this thing we call blogging, we get to know each other... share our lives, and get close to each other. How can we not feel the sting of losing one that we communicate with on a daily basis. She was remarkable that way and as I've said before, I will miss her dearly. Thanks again for your love.

My little Kitty above is doing the 'Happy Dance' because she's glad today is Friday. You might not be dancing, perhaps, happy that it is...So we wish you a lovely Friday Eve with friends and family!

Best of the Best,
James & Loretta

The Loss of a Blogging Friend

I just  do not know what to say. Her death was so unexpected. I hope you can understand what I can't put into words. I am deeply saddened by the loss we both shared as bloggers.
Friends, we have lost a Sister blogger, Cynthia Fox-Giddeons

Her blog is http://cynthiafoxgiddens.blogspot.com/ ;  Simply Positive, is the name if you have trouble with this link. Please, will you go there and leave condolences for her family? I know every word will be deeply appreciated. Please post on your blog for your followers to do the same!
I considered myself fortunate to have known Cynthia. She was a delightful young woman who always had a kind word to convey to others.

She lost her husband and lived alone in Atlanta. Her brother posted on Twitter of her being missing for two days. Then found, and was told she died of natural causes. Just recently, she lost an elderly gent for whom she'd befriend and grown to admire. His passing was sudden, and left her deeply saddened.

Cynthia also lost her beloved pet Coale.

To Her Family...I so wish I had word to lighten the pangs of distress you are experiencing. However, we know words just are not enough. Pleas accept our deepest condolences on your loss.
We will all miss Cynthia. You have my deepest sympathy.
Please know...Our sympathy is with you all in this your time of grieving...
"I know that sorrow has its purpose,
                             By the sorrowing oft unguessed;
But as sure as the sun brings morning
                              Whatever is...is best.

I know there are no errors,
                            In the great Eternal plan,
                         And all things work together
For the final good of man.
And I know when my soul speeds onward,
                           In its grand Eternal quest,
I shall say as I look back earthward,
                          Whatever is...is best."

The Paw Swipes Again

Good Evening,
Are you still having nice cool weather? If you are experiencing beautiful weather, good for you, we certainly aren't... it is back in the 90's here in sunny Louisiana again!
Oh well...I want to share what happened to me today with you, and why I titled this post. Kitty was so active and mischief today, it about drove me crazy! Her "cat fits" are coming more now so, I suppose we had better get her to the Vet soon.

I've been unpacking...yes, sad to say, I still have boxes to attend to...I have not been in any hurry. Lol. Yeah, I know it has been over a year, but I can't possibly use all of this stuff at one time! Lol!
After getting around the house all morning, I needed to stop and grab a bit to eat.

I had half a cabbage in the frig from last week so I stir-fried it, gently.

We had Chinese Sunday, so I got out the noodles to eat with the cabbage. I don't really like the chicken in Chicken Lo Mein, so I picked it out and gave it to Kitty. Lovey and Amanda were asleep.

The phone rings and I stop to answer it, when I turned, Kitty, standing on the table,  had one of the long noodles in her mouth and batting it with her hind legs on the table. I didn't get a pic of this, because she ran from the table when she saw me coming back! I didn't think I'd ever stop laughing. She brings/gives me so much joy!

This  is where she runs to when she knows she's in trouble. The 'paw' is quicker than the eye! Look at that expression. Lol!

When she knew things had settle with Mom, she watches from the window with one of the yarn balls I make for her... she walks around with one in her mouth all the time. I made about a dozen of them and she has hidden them everywhere in the house. I never see them, but she always comes out with one in her mouth. I am thankful she is in my home and heart!
I'm sure you have laughed at your kittie's antic's or your doggie's too...Will you share with us?

Tender Hugs Your Way,
Loretta
