Sometimes, we may be our worst enemy. It's not always easy to admit who you really are. Acknowledging limitations, physical or mentally in everyday life is not always easy. Yet, unless a person does so, he or she cannot experience true satisfaction. We all differ from the other. Not everyone can do the same or even as much as the other. Some may be gifted in certain ways; and there are those who have talents that others lack.
One of the greatest problem that many have is learning to recognize their own limitations; not everyone excels in every endeavor. Actually, the fact that not all individuals excel in the same thing provides a basis for appreciating and highly esteeming other. It gives us an opportunity to show gratitude for their fine qualities and abilities. On the other hand, if we constantly endeavor to push beyond our capabilities we can impose greater limits on ourselves. Striving for the best, for wealth and the likes, can result in ruining your health in the process.
The person who really learns to live with himself recognizes his limits, and does not go beyond them. We all differ for various reasons because of personal needs, and, we are all unique. Just because you didn't win a blue ribbon for the best apple pie, it certainly doesn't mean you can't bake a lip-smaking pie! Perhaps you feel you'll never grow a prized rose...so what? That doesn't mean your garden isn't beautiful.
There are excellent southern cooks whose culinary skills are phenomenal, but that doesn't mean your broccoli casserole isn't the best in town. No other person can do what you were meant to do! Use your special abilities to bring contentment to yourself, and then, help others. You have no reason to doubt your capabilities, nor should you ever feel weak, insignificant, or inferior, because we are all unique to our Heavenly Father and His Son.
We first have to acknowledge our limitations; then accept the fact that our abilities may be limited, but we do what we can in a manner worthy of God's acceptance, for He knows our strengths and our weaknesses. It is important to remember, He gave us these unique abilities, so we must be thankful for them regardless to how limites we may think they are. And then, you learn to live with your unique self...just as you are.

Hello Friends. Meet My Big Family Of Fur-Babies!

The first baby is Lovie. The name is deceiving, let me tell you. She 's loaded with energy and never stops going, I declare sometimes I think there is cat in her genes! And, she has captured James' heart and has him wrapped around her little pampered paw. She was given to us because it was found there was a flaw with her eyes and she would go blind. Fat chance!

#2 is Ella. Ella is a rescue we adopted from Broken Bow Oklahoma. She was used as a breeder, and had sooo many problems when we got her. If you notice her eyes, she is blind in one, and very little sight in the other. She wasn't potty-trained, but we have come a very long way. She's our little sweetheart. She's learned how to bark now, and mercy, you can't shut her up!

#3 Alex. Alex is all my headaches rolled into one. I need the dog whisper or something to help me get this boy under control! Our groomer Marva, bless her heart, asked me not to bring him back...anymore! I took him to their vet, and Lawdy they couldn't do anything with him. HELP! I love him and he loves me, I just know it, but I'm determined to make him my baby as he was when we got him. Pray for me folks. lol.

#4 Ashley, my heart. He is sooo smart and good! It seems he knows what moves I'm going to make before I know. He knows my moods, feelings, everything! I tell him all the time, talk so I can understand you. If it does happen, can't you imagine folks scrapping me off the ceiling. lol

Then, there's Amanda. Our Mandy is so, stubborn and hateful to all of them, sometimes even her brother Ashley. James can pull out his hair because of her stubborness, and she has "being aloof" down to a tee! But, she's our Mandy, and we wouldn't have it any other way with either of them. After all, they are family, and just as you have to put up with different personalities in any family, we're coping well with ours'.

"There is a hurt in our hearts that our two boys held deeply. We lost two family members who were loved like all the rest.
They were Loyal, and Trusted Companions who always gave us their Best".
They were brothers from birth and they were together in everything those seemingly short years of their lives. Then, Duke passed away and Blackjack grieved for his brother deeply. His grief was profound, so much so, that devastating morning, we found him asleep...in death!

We Miss You Guys So Much! In Loving Memory Of:
