Friday...Words of Wisdom

Update: (The stumble and fall here refers to sin. Because of imperfection, we all fall short of God's righteousness....
1 John 5:17)

"If  You should stumble and fall...

Don't just lay there and wallow in self-pity...

Reach up and grab hold of His helping hand.

" Because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."  So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Hebrews 13:5-b-6.

Wishing You A Peaceful & Happy Friday...

A Smile

Thanks to all of you for such lovely comments. You made me SMILE each time I read one. Wouldn't it be a better world if only folks' would learn/exercise this simple function...there are too many sour faces and even worse personalities! Thanks for the SUNSHINE!

I went into Wal-Mart the other day; walking into the vestibule an elderly lady was standing there with a bag at her feet. I immediately went to her and asked if she needed help...she looked surprised and said, "You just gave me all the help I needed dear. Thanks you so much."
She started to walk away after picking up her bag...of course, I was at a loss, so I asked her what did I do? You were kind to me, but most of all, you smiled! I really needed that pretty smile this morning!  So, I decided to give you all a SMILE today!

 He's the cutest

Tell us, what brings sunshine to you making you Smile?

Have a Sunshiny Day!

Musings From Loretta...

I just want to say...
Good Morning Dear Friends,

It is finally cool here in my-neck-of-the-woods...Wheee! Those 110 and 115 temps were awful! We went from those extreme temps to lows 59 and high 72! What a drop, huh?
Reading some of your post, we see you are experiencing some nice cool weather too...hope you are enjoying it!
I have enjoyed your visiting and most of all, your commenting on our blog... I'm sure you have enjoyed our visiting you also. What matters most is your taking the time to stop by...Some are regular, some are new, some stop in from time to time...however, its the thought that counts, i'm sure for all of us.
I have a bit of news to share with you today...I have known for a while, but was afraid to speak about it. However, I just can't keep it any longer!

First, I will have "all" my children and "all" eleven of my grands home for the Holidays! Some of the grands, we have only seen pictures of!
Second, Jason, my son, who lives in PA, is moving back to Louisiana!!! (I'm like Braylon, I'm doing my happy, happy dance!)
Believe me, things will be so much better for James and me.
You know how you worry about things and we have worried about this son because of his being our "Special"  son! We adopted him, knowing his needs, but love/loved him just... maybe a little more, because of it!  I won't go into details, but now, he is better and adjusting to life.
We've been busy readying things for this huge event...not only does Jason have family, but he will also be bringing his pets...3 more kitties! They will stay, along with the children, so Jason and Jessica can go back for the move. Our keeping the children and pets will make things move better for them.
Jason's sister Daun, her hubby Willie and daughter Robyn are here to help with them...a blessing for us! We know this will be no small undertaking. We will keep you posted...

Again, thank you for your support of this blog, but importantly, being our good blogging-friends. We love you!

Warm and Gentle Hugs,
Loretta

Final note: I will be back to visit later...trying to get some things done today. You know how I have to work...do a little, sit a little...Lol. So funny, Huh?

Sunday's Inspiration

"Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends
of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the
weak, and to those who have no might He increases
  strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young
men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up like
 eagles.
They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not
       be faint."...
