Hi Everyone...I'm Back

Good Monday Evening to you all! Thank you sooo very much for your encouraging and kind words from the both of us! We really needed then all and they came at a time when we thought about just giving up. Your prayers and friendship were needed and you supported us without fail.
 
I had a bad flare-up from the fibro, and that really got me down and set me back, then James' mom was found on the floor alone and abandoned in her home. That was a terrible blow to both of us. We are currently trying to bring her into our home, and we've had to give up space to do so, but worth all the effort we have gone through to do so.

 My Mother-in-law is so happy to be coming into our home, and looking forward to my caring for her. I hope I'll be worthy of her trust and hopes. Pray that we will be able to care for her as long as possible, because she is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease. I thought I'd share some before and after pics with you.

 Dear friends, I'm still not done, but I have made some progress. The old house seem to have more than this one. I've resolved to take it one day at a time and forget about tryng to hurry things along. Things aren't the best, because I'm working alone and still trying to get through this flare-up. The kitchen does look a bit better now. I cooked our first meal, but forgot to take a picture. How soon we forget huh? Well, I just want to say hello and to let you know, I'm back to reality. Give me a few and I'll be visiting soon. Until then....luv you!

We have six-over-six and I did them first. Even though the house isn't done, I take the time to sit for a spell and watch the kids play in the park across the street.

Hello To All,  Thanks for your heartfelt words of encouragement. So much has happened with this move until I am completely overwhelmed. If you can believe this, I am still moving things out! Yes, I had this much stuff and life's circumstances has hit us hard dealing with family, of all things to come up now!  I can't go into details now because I'm stealing this time to come to you, for you are my sense of calm and release!!!   I haven't forgotten you Karen, I'm still looking for yours that my hubby mistakenly pack, but don't know where!! When this is over, and I've said it before, this will be the last time going through this headach,  unless unforseen occurrences happen! Keep us in your prayers, as we will certainly do the same. Love to you all! I'm sorry...I almost forgot,  Hubby says he needs some words too! LOL.

We Are Finally Moving In

Hi everyone, just wanted to tell you we are moving in this weekend! All the mold is gone, the carpets are done, and so am I! I am so tired and my work has only begun...there is still the unpacking! Hubby swears I need to stop thrift shopping, but taking that away from me is like taking milk from a baby, a bone from a dog, or my Dr Pepper!
  Seemingly everything that could go wrong with this move, did! My Dad used to say all the time, "you can't win for losing!" I'm believing that more and more with each passing day. Am I the only one that these things happen too?
  Oh my, I will be sooo glad when I'm back into my routine. I suppose I was in my comfort zone too long and changes are getting the best of me. I can certainly use some encouragement right about now dear friends. This time, I need you!

We Have Named Our Two Dolls

  Timmy and Tammy are sooo happy that I am calling them by names now. Their cheeks seem to be just a bit more rosy. Thanks to all who helped us. We received some very good names but Timmy and Tammy were the names that were most appropiate for them. Thanks Karen of Homespun Simplicity.

 Your words of compassion have been so very comforting, and we have appreciated them immensly! Thank you all. Hubby sends his regards also!
 Today has been a cool and windy 55 degrees. I had to get the heavy pants and sweaters out again. I'd packed them down forgetting about what locals call, "the Easter snap". Sure enough it's here! Tonight will be in the lower 40's, after 90 degrees for several days!
  We have finished the yard cleanup, but still need to do some more hauling. That was a beast because I had to run the power saw; hubby was called out to his job. Do you think that was planned? I have that sneaky suspicion. LOL.

  Update on the new house...I finally spent the day carrying a few boxes in. The hardwood floors are out, for now! After pulling the carpet back more, we found painted floors and they were awful! It will take some time to get them in shape, so we decided to have the carpet steam-cleaned for now, and make floor finishing a future project.
  Too, we discovered mold in the house on the walls, so we are having that cleaned up. Hopefully, after all these people are done, we can move in at the end of the week! Rain is in the forecast again, so we shall see! Oh how I'm ready for a shower and the comfort of my bed!
