Good Evening, I am so happy you are hear with me today. Welcome welcome to "At Home with Loretta!" I have been dealing with this vertigo since last week. After seeing Doc and taking each day slowly, everything seems to be slowing down now and my feet are sturdy on the floor. It was really bad this time.
I didn't get to post since last week, so I couldn't share my crafts with you. Of course, you've seen the Treasure Box I re-purposed from a cookie tin:

However, I needed some flowers for a photo to include in my newspaper article. I remembered having some paper ones I started for a baby shower.
So, I dug out the whites then started making pastel colors. This is tissue paper that I keep a nice supply of for gift wrapping, etc. Using chenille stems, they are easily wrapped around the tissue to secure. You have to adjust the stems...
then pull each layer of tissue apart to separate them. I forgot to mention, you must fold the tissue in a fan style first, over-and-under then tie. I then hot-glued a small faux-pearl in the center to hide the chenille-stem after all layers were apart. Adjust them the way you want them to look.
This is the way they should look in fan shape...you can make them any size you want the flower to be...these are small ones showing...
Using a glass vase from my stash, I stuffed the inside with batting, then pushed the stems into it. This keeps the stems from moving and upright.
Using floss I knotted it into a large pink button and tied it to the vase so that it hung just-so!
Miss Kitty thought the arrangement needed adjusting so she put her paw-cents in and moved them about! I can never get things done to suit her...
For a quick bouquet, this was a thrifty solution...and in this case, it didn't cost me anything....
Sure hope you enjoyed your visit...come on back again to see what's happening At Our House. Have a Wonderful Evening
Good-Night,
Loretta & Gang
