It is feeling like fall here...at last! We had rain, rain rain for three days, then the front came through dropping the temps in the 50's last night.
Wow, it really feels good! The lows will remain with us, however, the highs will be in the low 70's to 80's as the week goes on.
James and I took some time off and went shopping the weekend until the rain caught us in the middle of a parking lot! We got soaked... That was the end of shopping, but we managed to get a lot done before calling it a day.
Getting rain soaked is not good for either of us, so we now have stuffy nose, sneezing, fever, etc. James had to stay home today because of the fever. What a price to pay just for a day out together, huh? Boy was that weatherman wrong!
How was your weekend? Did you have a restful one or, was it filled with activities?
James want you to know... he miss you all, and he'll be back to post...he's been busy and trying to get back into the job routine. Hey ya'll! I'll be back to visit with you later.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry you were soaked!! We had a beautiful weekend, took out the Iron Steed (ATV) and enjoyed some of our glorious color. And today we're going riding again!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's no fun to be caught in the rain but glad the temps. have cooled down a bit for you. It's staying in the 60's and 70's here throughout the day and the 40- 50's at nights.

ReplyDeleteIt definitely felt like fall last week. We had a few frosts already. Today was beautiful though. I got out and enjoyed the outdoors today, despite having a miserable head cold. Hope you and your hubby are feeling better soon!
