Picking greens, washing, getting them in the pot was a chore for me and by the time the bread was done, I threw my hands up and quit! Hubs got the message loud and clear. This is what he ended up with:
The greens are steaming hot right out of the pot.
I took more than one pic to show you the food on the plate and added more also. Hubster went out and got fried chicken to eat with his meal. I just wanted the greens.
The bottle you see here is Louisians Hot Pepper Sauce that I made last summer. It is hot, but oh-soo-good!
This is my homemade Fresh Peach Cobbler that I made yesterday. I did a tutorial, but have to do this another post. Sorry, I ran out of mint and used what I had to garnish...celery leaf! LOL. Did you notice this cobbler has dumplings...it was sooo good!
Hope you are having a sweet Sunday with family and friends! Those of you living north of us, we heard the weather reports and know you are having to deal with this...please be safe and take care...this weather is dangerous! You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love You!
Loretta
What time is supper? The cobbler looks delicious. There's still a little snow around, but tomorrow is supposed to be in the 50s. Yesterday was rough.

ReplyDeleteConsidering you usually prepare 3 meals in one, you deserve a break every once in a while. I sure could use some of that cornbread.
