I decided to cook a meat loaf with a tomato and garlic puree, steamed rice, green peas with a butter sauce, an arugula salad with a vinaigrette, corn-bread sticks, and for dessert chocolate cheese cake with whipped topping.
Please overlook my dishes, I didn't feel up to taking down others, so I'm using all everyday ones.
And, about that cheese cake...h-u-b-b-y! He thought I cut the cheesecake for him, so he forked a piece out the side. Snapping the pictures was my answer instead of ...need I say anymore!
Well as always, wish you were here! Please, if you want the recipe to any of this meal, let me know. My e-mail is on the home page. My energy is low and I need to get to meds. Luv-You!
Oh, bless your poor health, dear friend. You've done a lovely meal all things considering :o) I pray that would have a better day, so rest.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you.

mmmmm... Me thinks meat loaf and cheesecake for supper sounds really good. That's what we will have!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's quite a dinner you made, especially for not feeling well. Hope you're better today. The cheesecake looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI think I've said this to you before: You should thank the Lord that I don't live next to you... I'd be over your house as soon as I'd smell that delicious food! You wouldn't be able to get rid of me! LOL! Love that meal, I'm going to write you for the meatloaf recipe. And I know what you wanted to shout out when hubby took a bite of your cheesecake: "Son of a BEEP!" but you held your tongue! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better and got some rest too. :)
Best,
Gloria
